水中ドローンFIFISH V6がバージョンアップしてライブ中継が可能となりました。めざせYouTuber？
FIFISH V6のファームウェアとWi-Fiソフトウェアのアップデートが行われて、各種プラットフォームでライブ中継ができるようになったようです。まだ試していないのですが、大丈夫なのでしょうか？実は、Wi-Fiソフトウェアのアップデートが行われました。FIFISH本体とコントロール用iPad miniの接続は良好となりました。しかし、FIFISH V6の本体とiPad miniはWi-Fiで繋がるため、この状態では、外部発信はできません。どのようにネットワークを構築するのか、ソフト上の説明では分かりませんでした。また、ライブ発信用の説明動画もアップロードされていませんでした。詳しいことは全く分かりませんでした。そこで、Shenzhen QYSEA Techに問い合わせてみました。残念ながら、まだ返答は頂いておりません。それでも、これまで水中ドローンを操縦してきた経験から、いくつかの注意点を挙げたいと思います。
水中ドローンの映像をライブ配信する上での注意点
まず、映像についての注意点です。水中ドローンの操作を実際に行って、映像を撮影したことがある方は、よくご存知かもしれません。撮影した水中映像は、結構揺れてしまう場合があります。水中ドローンの方向転換後や停止した際に、船に乗っているような感じで映像が揺れてしまいます。揺れた映像は、結構不快に思う方もいると思います。撮影した映像を編集し、揺れが残る映像は消去すれば、問題はありません。しかし、ライブ配信を行うと揺れも配信してしまいます。急激な減速や加速を行わないなど、映像を意識した水中ドローンの運転が必要でしょう。
音についての注意点です。水中ドローンのスクリューの音は意外に大きいものです。FIFISHV6のライブ配信が水中の音を配信するのであれば、不快なスクリュー音も配信してしまいます。もし、コントロール用iPad miniのマイクで操縦者の声を配信してくれるのであれば、楽しいライブ配信になるでしょう。
FIFISH V6のアシスト運転も可能となりました。
アシスト運転は、FIFISHを一定の速度で自動運転するという機能です。特にFIFISHを一人で操作している時に、便利な機能かもしれません。FIFISHを沖合まで航行する、または沖合からFIFISHを回収するとき、アシスト運転を行うことで、ケーブルの巻き出し、巻き取りができるからです。これまでは、FIFISHを沖合まで航行する場合、とりあえず数十メートルほどケーブルを出してから、FIFISHを運転していました。ケーブルをさらに引き出す場合、一旦FIFISHを止める必要がありました。アシスト運転なら、FIFISHを操縦すること無く、ケーブルを出すことができます。また、FIFISHの回収時もアシスト運転を行うことで、操縦すること無くケーブル巻きができます。FIFISHは、これからもバージョンアップが行われると思います。もっと便利な機能も付加されることでしょう。

Assisted driving is a function that automatically drives FIFISH at a constant speed. It may be a useful function especially when operating FIFISH alone. This is because when navigating FIFISH offshore or recovering FIFISH from offshore, the cable can be unwound and wound by performing assist operation. Until now, when navigating FIFISH offshore, I had to take out the cable for a few tens of meters before driving FIFISH. If I wanted to pull out the cable further, I had to stop FIFISH once. With assisted driving, you can pull out the cable without maneuvering FIFISH. Also, by performing assist operation when collecting FIFISH, you can wind the cable without maneuvering. I think that FIFISH will continue to be upgraded. More useful functions will be added.
