当社ブースへのご訪問、ありがとうございました（サイエンスアゴラ２０２２）。
１１月５日（土）６日（日）、テレコムセンタービルで開催されたサイエンスアゴラ２０２２が無事終了しました。当社のブースにもたくさんの方のご訪問、本当にありがとうございました。また、ほとんどの方が当社展示物に大変興味を持っていただき、充実した出展となりました。皆さまのご期待にお応えできるように、これから努力していきたいと思います。
カイコウオオソコエビクリアファイルは、全て配布しました。
今回の出展では、カイコウオオソコエビクリアファイルを１００部用意しました。そして、１００部全て配布でき、余りはありませんでした。皆さん、クイズに挑戦されて、正答率は１００％でした。残念ながら、６日の日曜日午前中で全てのクリアファイルが配布できてしまい、日曜日午後にご訪問いただいた方に配布できませんでした。土曜日も日曜日も午後の時間帯は、最も多くの方が訪問される時間帯です。折角ご訪問いただきましたが、すみませんでした。もっと多くの方にクリアファイルを配布できたと思うと、残念でなりません。それでも、１００名様以上の方にご訪問頂いたことに感謝します。以前参加した時より、全体的な来場者数は減少したように感じました。新型コロナウイルス感染症流行以前の話なので、単純に比較はできません。また、行動規制が解除され、数多くの観光地が旅行先として競合相手となってしまいました。その結果、サイエンスアゴラ２０２２に来場する方が減ってしまったのかもしれません。今回のサイエンスアゴラ２０２２来場者数は、今後発表されるでしょう。
今回、サイエンスアゴラ２０２２に出展して、感じたこと
サイエンスアゴラ２０２２のテーマは「まぜて、こえて、つくりだそう」でした。凄く高尚なテーマです。しかし、テーマと来場する方の年齢層や構成とズレているように感じました。もちろん、テーマは大切ですが、今回のような抽象的で分かりにくいテーマではなく、具体的で分かりやすいテーマの方が来場者の傾向に合っていると思います。「サイエンスアゴラ」という企画名自体、一般の方には馴染みが無く、難しい単語です。また、「サイエンス」という単語自体、「難しい」というイメージが付きまといます。多くの人に来場して頂くためには、もっと簡単なフレーズをテーマにした方が良いと思いました。
また、企業関係者も訪問しにくい開催日時です。サイエンスアゴラの実地開催は、主に土曜日と日曜日です。一般の方は何の問題も無く来場できますが、企業や大学関係者は難しいと思います。休日出勤となり、参加理由も「情報収集」となります。特に最先端技術の発表があるわけではないので、仕事として参加することは難しいでしょう。専門家や企業の方をターゲットとせず、小中学生や家族連れをターゲットとした方が良いと思いました。時期も１１月開催では、大学や高校受験が近いので、１０月開催または６月開催が望ましいのではないでしょうか。

In addition, most of the visitors were very interested in our exhibits, and it was a fulfilling exhibition. We will do our best to meet your expectations.
We have distributed all the Hirondellea gigas clear files.
At this exhibition, we have prepared 100 copies of clear files for the Hirondellea gigas. And we were able to distribute all 100 copies, and there weren't any leftovers. Everyone was challenged to the quiz, and the correct answer rate was 100%. Unfortunately, we were unable to distribute all clear files to those who visited us on Sunday afternoon, as we were unable to distribute them on the morning of Sunday 6th. Saturday and Sunday afternoons are the most visited hours. I apologize for taking the trouble to visit you. It's a pity to think that we could have distributed clear files to more people. Still, I am grateful for the visits of more than 100 people. I felt that the overall number of visitors decreased compared to when I participated before. It's a story before the new corona virus infection epidemic, so I can't simply compare it. In addition, movement restrictions have been lifted, and many tourist destinations have become competitors as travel destinations. As a result, the number of visitors to Science Agora 2022 may have decreased. The number of visitors to Science Agora 2022 will be announced later.
What I felt after exhibiting at Science Agora 2022
The theme of Science Agora 2022 was "Mix, spread and create". It's a very classy theme. However, I felt that there was a gap between the theme and the age group and composition of the visitors. Of course, the theme is important, but I think that a concrete and easy-to-understand theme suits the tendency of visitors better than an abstract and difficult-to-understand theme like this time. The name of the project, “Science Agora,” itself is a difficult word that is unfamiliar to the general public. Also, the word "science" itself has the image of being "difficult." In order to attract more people, I thought it would be better to use a simpler phrase as the theme.
In addition, the date and time of the event is difficult for business people to visit. Science Agora is held mainly on Saturdays and Sundays. The general public can visit without any problems, but I think it will be difficult for people involved in companies and universities. I will be working on a holiday, and the reason for participating will be "information gathering". Since there are no announcements of cutting-edge technology, it would be difficult to participate as a job. I thought it would be better to target elementary and junior high school students and families instead of targeting professionals and companies. If it is held in November, it would be preferable to hold it in October or June, because university and high school entrance exams are close.
