当社では、別のホームページにて超深海生物カイコウオオソコエビの樹脂包埋標本をレンタルしています。また、カイコウオオソコエビの殻を使ったお守りも販売しています。カイコウオオソコエビは、圧力に耐えることに関しては世界一です。カイコウオオソコエビのお守りは、その圧力（プレッシャー）に耐える能力にあやかって、プレッシャーに強くなるご利益を期待しています。
当社のカイコウオオソコエビは、２年以内に採取された試料です。
当社のカイコウオオソコエビは、海洋研究開発機構（JAMSTEC）とは全く関係ありません。私がJAMSTECを退所した後に収集した試料です。JAMSTECでは多数のカイコウオオソコエビを採取しました。しかし、そのほとんどを実験で使用しました。残った少数のカイコウオオソコエビ試料は、全てJAMSTECに保存されています。もっとも、実験で使用できそうもない状態の悪い試料が残りました。もちろん、当時制作した展示用の樹脂包埋標本も全てJAMSTECに返納しました。当社のカイコウオオソコエビについてご質問、ご意見がございましたら、当社にメールにてお問い合わせ下さい。
カイコウオオソコエビは採取しやすい深海生物の一種です。
カイコウオオソコエビは世界最深部に生息する超深海生物ですが、意外と採取しやすい深海生物です。多くの深海生物は何を食べているのか分からないため、寄せ餌ワナで採取できません。また、プランクトンを食べている深海生物の場合、寄せ餌ワナで捕獲はできません。さらに、深海生物を捕獲できた場合でも、深海から引き揚げてくる間に溶けてしまうこともあります。深海クラゲや深海ナマコなど、海上に引き上げてくる間に溶けてしまうでしょう。しかし、カイコウオオソコエビはサバなどの魚の切り身など生物の死骸を食べているので、寄せ餌ワナで簡単に採取できます。水圧に関係ない鉄などの素材で組んだ枠組みに寄せ餌ワナを取り付けて、水深８０００ｍより深い海底に設置して、浮上・回収すると簡単に採取できます。また、カイコウオオソコエは殻のおかげで、溶けてしまうことはありません。

Hirondellea gigas are a type of deep-sea creature that is easy to collect.
Hirondellea gigas is an ultra-deep-sea creature that inhabits the deepest part of the world, but it is surprisingly easy to collect. Many deep-sea creatures don't know what they eat, so they can't be collected with bait traps. Also, deep-sea creatures that eat plankton cannot be caught with bait traps. Furthermore, even if deep-sea creatures are captured, they may melt during the time they are withdrawn from the deep sea. Deep-sea jellyfish and deep-sea sea cucumbers will melt while being pulled out to sea. However, since Hirondellea gigas eats the carcasses of fish such as mackerel, it is easy to catch them with a feeding trap. You can easily collect it by attaching a bait trap to a framework made of iron and other materials that are not affected by water pressure, placing it on the seabed deeper than 8000m, and surfacing and recovering it. Also, due to its shell, the sea cucumber won't melt.
