水族館で見る魚と水中ドローンで見る魚

水中ドローンで見る海の生物
水中ドローンを利用した場合、海の生物は完全に自然の姿を見せてくれます。そのため、水中ドローンが魚に急速接近すると、魚たちは必ず逃げていきます。水中ドローンが比較的大きな機体で、スクリュー音も大きいので、魚たちを驚かせてしまうようです。海の中や湖の仲は、音が非常に伝わりやすく、あまり減衰しません。スクリュー音はかなり生物に響くようです。水中ドローンで上手く海の生物を観察・撮影するためには、ゆっくりと接近することが必要です。海の生物を見つけても、急速接近することなく、動きを見ながら接近しましょう。時々水中ドローンを静止させることも、生物を驚かせない工夫の一つです。自然の海の生き物は非常に憶病です。それでも小さな魚が大きな魚に襲われる場面や、魚同士の縄張り争いの場面など、水族館の水槽では絶対に見ることが出来ない自然の姿を観察できるでしょう。
水中ドローンを利用するときの注意点
水中ドローンの利用時に注意するべき点は、バッテリーの残量です。水中ドローンの運航やライト、録画に電力を使います。この中で、意外に電力消費量が大きい動作は、録画です。もちろん、ライトは電力消費量が大きいのですが、後述の理由からあまりライトを使うことは少ないかもしれません。しかし、録画を常にオンにして水中ドローンを操作すると、あっという間に電力を消費します。録画は、撮影したいと感じた時に行いましょう。
水中ドローンのライト点灯は諸刃の剣です。ライトを点灯すると海や湖の中の浮遊物に反射し、画面が白く濁ったようになります。水深が１０ｍ未満の場合、ライトを点灯しない方が、視界が良くなることがほとんどです。また、録画した映像は映像編集ソフトでコンストラクトや明るさの編集が可能です。夜の海や湖など、明らかに明るさが足りない場合、ライトを使いましょう。

Precautions when using an underwater drone
What you should pay attention to when using an underwater drone is the remaining battery power. Electricity is used for operating underwater drones, lighting, and recording. Among these, the operation that consumes a surprisingly large amount of power is recording. Of course, lights consume a lot of power, but you may not use them very often for the reasons described below. However, operating an underwater drone with recording turned on will quickly consume power. Record when you feel like shooting.
Underwater drone lighting is a double-edged sword. When the light is turned on, it is reflected off floating objects in the sea or lake, and the screen becomes white and cloudy. If the water depth is less than 10m, it is almost always better to turn off the lights. In addition, the recorded video can be edited with video editing software for construct and brightness. Use a light when there is clearly not enough light, such as the sea or lake at night.
