真鶴港の中には、魚釣りができる岸壁があります。天候の良い週末は、結構な人が魚釣りを楽しんでいます。しかし、残念ながらマナーの悪い人もいて、地域の住人に迷惑をかけているようです。実際、私も酷い目にあったことがありました。魚釣りができる岸壁には駐車場があって、８時から１７時まで利用でき、それ以外の時間はチェーンで封鎖されています。そのチェーンをかける鉄柱に釣り針が引っ掛けてありました。何となく鉄柱に触れた時、指に痛みが走り、見てみると釣り針が刺さっていました。本当に悪質だと思います。ラインが絡んでしまったなどの理由から仕掛けを切り離すことはあるでしょう。ただ、切り離した仕掛けは、全て回収して持ち帰ってから再利用や処分をしましょう。釣り針は危険な物であるとしっかりと認識して欲しいと思います。
魚釣りには、明確なルールがあります
法律上、一般の人が行う魚釣りは「遊漁」と言います。これは魚を獲るという点では同様ですが、営利活動として行っている「漁業」と明確に区別されています。一般の人が行う魚釣りは、レジャーの一つとされています。ただ、漁業権が設定されている魚種や貝類、海藻類の捕獲および採取は、遊漁では禁止されています。遊漁とは営利を目的としないで水産動植物を採捕する行為のうち、調査や試験研究を除いたものです。そのため、営利に直結する魚種の釣りは禁止されているということです。真鶴港周辺では、貝類や海藻類に漁業権が設定されていますが、魚類には漁業権は設定されていないため、安心して魚釣りを行って下さい。ただし、真鶴港ではなく岩港周辺の魚釣りは禁止されているので、注意して下さい。
魚釣りのマナーについて知っておきましょう。
岩港での釣りが禁止となった理由の一つに、釣り人のマナーの悪さがあったと聞きました。仕掛けの放置や釣り餌のポイ捨てなどの行為があったようです。釣り人のマナー違反が魚釣り可能な場所を減らすことがあります。しかし、マナーを知らない釣り人は少なからず居ます。魚釣りを始めるとき、友人に誘われたり、何となく始めてみたりと、マナーを学習する機会が少ないからでしょう。岸壁での魚釣りのマナーは、次のような項目が挙げられます。
１）釣り場の自然環境保護を心掛け、空き缶、ビニール袋、釣り餌、釣り糸、釣り針は必ず持ち帰る。
２）岸壁に置かれている魚網などの漁具には近づかない。
３）立ち入り禁止区域に立ち入らない。

４）必要以上に魚を釣らない
５）フグやヒトデなど、目当てではない生き物が釣れた時、陸に放置せず海に戻す。
特に１）を守らない場合、釣り場の他の釣り人にも迷惑をかけるだけでなく、周辺住人にも迷惑がかかります。釣りの仕掛けは軽く、海岸は常に風が吹いています。風に飛ばされて、民家の洗濯物にでも引っかかると、大怪我をする場合があります。必ず守ってください。
海の中にも配慮をお願いします。
